Choice Hotels Australasia has welcomed six new properties as franchise partners in the past two months, adding more than 250 rooms to its Asia Pacific collection.

Choice Hotels Australasia President and CEO Brent Russell said the growth was an indication that the company's franchise system was in high demand and that hoteliers recognised the benefits of joining the Comfort, Quality and Clarion brands.

Mr Russell said the latest signups included properties in New Caledonia , Queensland , Melbourne and Adelaide and reflected the company's ongoing success in expanding more widely into cities and gateways.
