Unistal has announced its strategic tie-up with anti-virus vendor, Kaspersky Labs, thereby offering its Crash Proof data loss prevention software with the Unistal-Kapersky anti-virus software.

Alok Gupta, director-Marketing, Unistal Systems, said, "This alliance is strategic because it combines the well known strengths of Crash Proof for data loss prevention with that of Kaspersky Labs, who have the world's best scan engine. With this bundle offering we hope to switch the anti-virus market to that for data loss prevention without any additional cost."

To mark successful completion of 10 years of operation, anti-virus software has been bundled absolutely free with every Crash Proof box that now comes in a new and improved packing. Besides bundling it free with Crash Proof, Unistal would also be distributing the anti-virus solution from Kaspersky Labs under the OEM model to major PC manufacturers in the country.  CRN
